Freedom in Christ means living into freedom for all such as we repent and celebrate regarding Juneteenth. No longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, through Jesus’ death and resurrection all become one with our redeemer. This is the meaning of Baptism, our faith is in Jesus’ righteousness exchanged for our sin; let them go and receive the free gift of new life we live into now and eternal life when Jesus returns. O happy day!
