I pray that you are encouraged by the stores shared in today’s service, and related to Jesus parable about the sower and the soils.  Our Lord speaks to us in ways we can relate to and understand the power of God’s word to grow in us producing a great yield and hope the world cannot take away.  Jesus explained to His disciples and today’s believers, “You have been permitted to understand the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven.  To those who are open to my teaching, more understanding will be given, and they will have an abundance of knowledge.”  Oh what hope and security there is when we build upon God’s word rather than try to conform it to the world.  God’s word is powerful for our good, freely and abundantly given, yielding salvation.  Praise be to God.
